Özyeğin University was officially established on May 18, 2007, to be a research and education university that will contribute to the social development of the Turkish and international community. The university adopts a modern education system and an academic approach that is compatible with the needs of the labor market in various fields and sectors. It has become one of the best Turkish universities.

Özyeğin University has the first LEED-certified campus in Turkey, which has obtained the (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certificate. The green campus of Özyeğin University is located on an area of ​​280,000 square meters. It was designed in a modern way by a leading engineering company, which also designed the buildings of the University of Cambridge. The campus also includes all the educational, recreational, sports and facilities necessary to enhance the academic development of students, including:

Scientific research

Objective of Ezgin University:

Ozyegin University has prepared a comprehensive educational plan that is in line with the needs of the labor market, based on a number of studies conducted in cooperation with businessmen, faculty members, university students and graduates, on the needs of the labor market and various professions in Turkey and around the world. Based on this plan, the university develops educational and training curricula every year, to qualify students intellectually, socially and practically.

The university’s educational plan aims to provide advanced academic education for students that includes practical training at a global level, in addition to practical activities based on direct interaction between students and faculty members, which encourages students to discover themselves and learn the skills necessary to achieve their goals.

Özyeğin University is ranked as the best university in Turkey for the following year 2022-2023 according to the European ranking institution U-Multirank. This year, the institution evaluated more than 2,000 universities in 96 countries worldwide, including 47 Turkish universities, in several aspects: teaching level, scientific research, knowledge and information exchange, international orientation, and regional participation.

Important note

For students wishing to register for professional aviation training, please note that there is a separate cost from the basic expenses for each year, which is the practical aviation training expenses, amounting to 54 thousand euros until graduation, which the student pays in installments starting from the second academic year.
